It primarily consists of Clostridium botulinum toxin type A, derived from botulinum bacteria. This specific type of toxin binds to receptors at the neuromuscular junction, entering the axon’s end to inhibit the secretion of acetylcholine. As a result, it effectively blocks conduction within the neuromuscular junction. WonderTox 200iu is specifically indicated for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar wrinkles associated with the activity of the corrugator muscle and/or procerus muscle in adults aged 19 to 65 years.
